LuLuLun Sheet Masks: What’s Up With All the Damn Colors! Part 3

Scented Variety Edition

This post is part of a series of LuLuLun sheet masks. Check out the previous posts here: [Pt One] [Pt Two]

Quite a few of the previous Lululun sheet masks already have certain scents in them. The Hokkaido mask for instance smells of Lavender but the selling point was the fact it was based on the Hokkaido island, not its scent. These masks however are marketed around the fact that they have a particular scent. I almost called this selection the “Floral” Variety Edition as two out of three of them are floral scents. Damn citrus had to ruin my flow, yo. So what makes these masks so different? Let’s start with the outlier; Yuzu.

yuzu

Citrus facial mask also known as Yuzu facial mask. The Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit believed to be a hybrid of sour mandarin and Ichang papeda. These fruits are also very aromatic. Not much else to say about these masks, but as it is based on a citrus fruit you can expect a bit of vitamin C in this.

Ingredients include: water, glycerin, propanediol, ascorbyl glucoside, helianthus annuus (sunflower) sprout extract, chlorella vulgaris extract, rubus ellipticus root extract, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, xanthan gum, citric acid, sodium citrate, potassium hydroxide, disodium edta, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, fragrance.

Rose Facial Mask. I am not a huge fan of the scent of roses, or even flowers in fact, but I admit that rose is a popular scent. There’s even rose scented sunscreen… so yeah, pretty popular.

Ingredients include: water, glycerin, propanediol, hydrolyzed collagen, strawberry seed extract, dextrin, bilberry leaf extract, olive leaf extract, Rosa multiflora fruit extract, izayoybara extract, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, xanthan gum, citric acid, sodium citrate, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, fragrance, BG

lavender

Lavender Facial Mask. According to beautemart.ca it “provides intensive hydration while lavender is acclaimed for its aromatic, antiseptic and skin soothing properties.” Lavender is great for aromatherapy so I assume these mask would be good for that as well!

Ingredients include: water, glycerin, propanediol, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, fragrance, BG (I can not find a comprehensive list of ingredients, orz)

And with this my Lululun Mask series is concluded! I will update each respective page if new masks are brought to my attention as I hope to keep these pages as a source others could use if they need help. Thank you to those who showed interest in this mini research project of mine~

  1. Hey there, great coverage on what each color means. I recently bought a pink one, and now I wonder if it would have been better if I bought the blue or white… Anyway, could you cover 2 more colors? It’s called Lululun Precious Anti-Aging, but one is in a red box/face mask moist and the other is in a gold white/face mask clear.
